Momentary - Amphiboly

An amphiboly is a fallacy of ambiguity that is marked by a failure in grammar. In other words it would be when the exact meaning of a statement is left unclear due to a failure in clear grammar. For example:

No way, wool is ridiculously sticky when wet. Evidence: my fuzzified hands every time I wash my Tumnus scarf.

Although maybe the unwashed sheep ARE slippery when wet. They are greasy little fluffballs...
